Hmm, I have no decent pics of her but her trainer did post some videos on youtube. Here is the text to that link I posted. She's been in training for nearly 3 months now. I will be traveling down to Oregon to see her in August and I will take a lot of pictures, hopefully the weather will be nice!
"Well, since Tinkerbell lives about 1000 miles from me, I have her in training. She needs it but also to keep her mind active until I can get her closer. She is doing so great! In about a month she has gone from not knowing much at all to this! (if you don't want to click on the links, just go to youtube and type in horsemanoffaith and all the videos are on his channel which is called A Natural Way Horsemanship.)
Tinkerbell is a 5 y/o, 3/4 Arabian 1/4 Quarter Horse. She recently measured 13.2hh at the shoulder and about 600lbs. She is not registered yet.
Dam: Hmh Sophie Arabian
Sire: Color of Gold Dust Ddg Arabian
And his training FB page has some pictures of her and updates...if you're interested http://www.facebook.com/?sk=lf#!/pages/A-Natural-Way-Horsemanship/237109636337136
I'm so proud of her. She looks so much like her mom, especially in that first video at the end when she looks straight at the camera. She doesn't have her mom's giant trot but it's not bad. The trainer reports that she is a bit butt high and has an oddly shaped foot, which is a shame. Hopefully her foot can get reshaped and Im crossing my fingers that she may grow just a little bit more in the shoulders to even out. I think, if she will even out a bit and her foot gets a normal shape I will work to get her registered (it's going to be a pain in the behind), otherwise she will just be a perfect pony! Which, she is pony sized, her breeder and I think because when her mom was prego she coliced and "lost" the baby so she got some drugs a prego mare is not supposed to have. Obviously she didn't lose the baby, just had a very stunted one (both mom and dad are about 15hh).
(Her mom and half brother are on this page Horses for Sale :Two's a Team Stables
And these are mostly terrible pictures but her dad is on this page Stallions - Mikkola Ranch Arabians
Anyway, the trainer just posted videos and I was so excited to see her progress I had to share! Feel free to comment on anything or ask any questions. She's my baby (well, my baby's baby) and I love her no matter what. I know she's not perfect but she's perfect for me!"
