4yr Flaxen Chestnut MFT - $700

'Dusty's Red Man' is a blue papered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. He stands a nice 14.2hh with plenty of chrome. His coat is a deep chestnut, and his mane and tail are truely flaxen. In addition to a blaze and three stockings, he's quite a looker.
His mane is of medium length at the moment but will grow nice and long. Both parents had manes that touched, and exceeded, the shoulder. His mane was, unfortunately, torn out quite a bit by another gelding about two years ago, so it's not as long as it could be.

Red Man would exceed as a show horse, he's flashy and likes to strut. His dam, 'Rambling Rose L.' was shown but never to her fullest potential. She was a ribbon winner with an awesome gait. He has Zane Grey twice on his papers, both on the sire and dams side, as well as Missouri Traveler E. His is a completely registered Blue Papered gelding with the Missouri Fox Trotting Horse Breed Association.

Red is easy to catch and likes to be in your pocket, earning him the nickname 'Mr. Curious'. Very sweet little horse!

He does need finishing ground work to the tune of:
Bathing and fly spray, holding his feet for the farrier, leading (he sometimes lags), and loading (I have no trailer to work him with).

Red is being offered for sale due to time constraints. He's a great mover and wants to please, but he needs someone who can finish out his ground work and then start him under saddle. If he is not sold, he will be sent to be trainer either in late fall or early spring to be broke under saddle.

Asking $700 OBO. Located an hour away from Joplin, MO

Pictures coming soon
