8 yo 3/4 Arabian for sale in Missouri

Sadly, I'm offering Malachi for sale. It's been almost six months since I bought him and I realized that I need an older, more experienced horse that I can learn to ride from.

Malachis Hope Part-bred Arab
Malachi's Hope, or "Kai" is a 3/4 Arabian gelding that is eight years old and stands 14.3hh. He is an amazing trail horse; jumps over logs, crosses water and has never once offered to spook at anything. I have never shown him before, just because of my inexperience with both horses and riding, but I was told by his previous owner that he was successfully shown in "B" level Hunter and Working Hunter classes. Although, I believe with enough training, Kai could do almost anything because he catches on quickly and he is extremely willing to please. He is not aggressive in anyway, and he doesn't buck or rear; he just needs someone to give him time and patience and to teach him what he is supposed to do.

Malachi has good ground manners, trailers well, ties and stands for the vet and to be shod/groomed/saddled. He has no vices and just needs someone willing to give him a chance. I want to sell him for $1,000, but I will consider any offers that I get. Feel free to PM me with any questions. :)

We are located in Wentzville, MO, about 30-40 minutes away from St. Louis.

I'm having some difficulty with selling him, but thank you. :) If you know someone that might take him, could you pass the word along? I'm trying to sell him asap.

He's now $800, but I will still consider any offer that I can get for him! Or I'm willing to trade for a non-gaited, more laid back horse that I can take lessons and learn how to ride on. I really just want Kai to go to a good home.

I'm selling him because I'm a younger, beginner rider and Malachi is just too much for me to handle right now. I think he would be good for anyone who had a bit of experience with horses.

Here are some more pictures of him.

He is very pretty. Has he been around any mares? I know sometimes geldings can be a little funny around mares. I ride western also. I have a 20 yr old arab mare right now and might be looking for another riding horse. I trained her mainly myself and she is the best friend I could ever have. I was looking for a younger animal as my horse is getting a little older. She doesnt act it but I would like another horse possibly. I live in Wisconsin. Could you give me a little history on his personality and temperment? Especially around other horses. We have 8 mares right now. Thank you. Michelle
