Hi everyone,

I have an 8 year old Thoroughbred Gelding that I might end up having to sell in the near future....I've left for college and haven't been able to bear to part with him yet but is really impractical for me to keep him at this point. It absolutely breaks my heart, I love him dearly. I thought I would post him on here to see if there was any interest.

Very cute horse with a lot of personality. I got him off the track, he was very antisocial and not happy at all, but now after 3 years he is a very sweet and happy horse. I have been training him for jumping, and he's making a lot of progress. I ride him in a D-ring snaffle which he goes pretty well in. Here are some pictures and a video of him, please let me know what your opinions are on him!!

I was thinking of asking around 5k for him. Thanks for the advice!

More info on Charlie:

He has amazing feet for a TB. Very large and strong- he has been barefoot for over a year with no problems whatsoever. He's stockier than the average TB as well, very muscular. He stands well for the farrier, loads very easily. He lives outside and is really happy, pretty easy on blankets as well. He is a really wonderful horse.

he is sweet!! all I can say is the horse market has not rebounded yet so tho $5,000 is a fair price you might not get it. I have a 15.3 7 year old tb mare trained in dressage and jumping and am asking only $4,000 (selling for friend) and she is a dreamy mover and jumper and had only mild interest so far. But good luck, best to sell him since he is so young and can make someone a nice horse rather than be a pasture ornament. I know its hard to do .... best wishes
