9 year old reining gelding

About Kid:
This is a 9 year old AQHA gelding. He has tiger stripes on the back of both front legs. I bought him a year ago as my first reining horse. My plan was to show him to get my name out to colleges. He helped me accomplish my goal, I earned a scholarship to college for reining. He needs a some what experienced rider, but a green rider in the reining discipline or someone who just wants to learn. He would also make just a great trail horse. I competed him in the green, youth classes and rookie classes and he did very well in all classes. Kid is a gentle, well mannered, and sweet horse. All he wants to do is make his owner happy. I do NOT want to sell him, but he loves reining so much. I do not want to take his job away from him just because I'm leaving for college. He did injure his leg last October and he is now in the process of being legged back up. His leg made a 100% recovery and we have had no problems with it after we started riding again. This is a wonderful horse and he will make anyone who buys him just as happy as I am with him. You couldn't ask for a better horse to learn about reining on!

He is really a nice looking horse! I live far away, and he's more horse than I would need, and more price, too. Good luck and I hope he finds a really good home.
