HI again. I have calmed down from the 'situation' at first i was scared, then frustrated, then mad. I thought that I was getting a much better broke horse than what I did--I did know the lady before I bought him (not very well, but enough to say HI at the grocery store) and spoke with her back and forth about the horse for two weeks before looking at him. I had her trailer him to his new home, where is is being boarded at a hobby farm/petting zoo type place. I took it very slow introducing him to the surroundings; took one day alone in a paddock, the next day in the paddock with two miniture donkeys, the next in a pasture beside his new horse buddies and 20+ alpacas/llamas, today I finally let him go with the 'herd' and he bonded immediately with the smallest animal out there--a shetland pony. I have been out to handle him every day since the 'episode' and feel much more confident; he seems gentle enough even though a little high strung. I have contacted a professional trainer, but will leave that till the spring, as the snow will be flying here soon, and can work him around the farm/ arena quite confidently. Here are few photos you requested:

Dally, could you email me @ I can't private message you because I haven't posted five messages yet. We used to own a Tom and Dan (pictures from one of your previous posts), and I found your post when I googled their names. We sold them about 5/6 years ago to a man in FL to do weddings. Please email me when you get a chance!
Sorry for the wrong placement of this...

I bought a horse on a whim, sold it soon after. Waited for a period of time while I took lessons and share boarded. Took a month, a trainer's opinion and a physical from my vet to make a decision to buy my paint. Loved her and worked out well.

You got majorly ripped off and that lady definitely got away with it. The horse business is absolutely disgusting. I'm honestly waiting to hear a disaster to happen. Make sure you never ride that horse alone.

He is a registered paint. 3/4 Quarter horse, and 1/4 TB (his great grandparents on his moms side)
