That is a smart move. Horses are NOT cheap (in fact those "cheap" or "free" horses sometime way more expensive in their care, maintenance, and training). The horse you described would be $5K+ in my area. Even more than that. So please be careful when you look at cheap horse advertised as a great bombproof jumper etc. Its very likely to be a rip-off.
With that being said the discussion seems to go in circles already on 3 or 4 pages. So I'm closing this thread. P.S. And yes, claiming other people horses as own is against the Forum Rules
