Alright, you're right.

Anyway, I really hope this horse and others like it find a great forever home. I couldn't imagine putting my 21+ mare up for sale, ever. It's just not fair to the horse, unless it's in a bad situation.

Marica, I would not recommend this horse to a new owner. From the picture, she looks underweight and undermuscled. A horse of this age needs special care to bring her back to using condition and due to her age, will need specific care for the rest of her life. Secondly, we don't know the soundness of the horse - she may never be more then a pasture pet.

Although, on the surface, it seems despicable for someone to discard an elderly horse like that, we don't know the circumstances. For all we know, the horse isn't his, or something happened in his life to cause him to sell, or he rescued the horse himself and wants to place it rather then send it to an auction. Things we should know before we crucify the guy. Also, keep in mind that he is trying to move the horse to a new home rather then abandon it.

I'm not arguing with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Nothing sucks more than that moment during an argument when you realize you're wrong.

It's not always what you say but what they hear.

I agree iridehorses. Not to mention some older horses are HARD to keep weight on and if the owner doesn't know a lot about horses they wouldn't know how to make sure the horse didn't get that skinny.
