My mare Dakota is offered for sale because I am in need of a more serious eventing horse. She prefers western riding and I must let her go. I trained her for barrels and playdays and she was competitive; won a couple buckles and a lot of tack. She has been ridden on a lot of trails, in parades, grand entries, ridden english, jumped, and on a drill team. She would be good with a confident less experienced rider and definitely an experienced rider, she's pretty easy. I say confident because she has plenty of get up and go. She walks nicely on trails but also likes to trot and if you don't want to you have to hold her back lol. She is a safe horse. I have never fallen off her and I have almost no experience with horses that are hard to ride or crazy. She can be spunky sometimes but she's never bolted, bucked, or kicked while I've owned her for the past 7 years. I'd rather have a dependable horse and that's what Dakota has been for me. She could do playdays and barrel racing, trails (she loves being out on trails), breeding, or be a great riding around the house for fun kind of horse. Loves attention and seeking another great home.
