Default AQHA For Trade--Missouri

I have a AQHA registered bay roan gelding. He is 15.3 hands and is green broke. He will walk/trot/canter with no problems. He usually picks up his leads but he doesn't have any fancy training. He really needs someone to take him in any direction that they please. He is a really handsome guy with nice gaits. He doesn't photograph well so I took a video of him trotting. I am looking for something that is dead broke for my friends to ride. I don't care if the other horse is registered I just need something safe. My boyfriend and the other members of my family are all tall and large so the horse needs to be stocky and at least be 15 hands. My horse's registered name is Peps Gone Roan. He does have Peppy San on his papers, I don't know much about QH lines but I have been told that he has nice papers by the folks around here. We paid $2000 for him as a yearling and since then he has been professionally trained for 30 days and I have just continued his training for the year after he was broke. He has never offered to buck or take off and has been a really easy keeper. He has got color, papers, and a nice start...Now he just needs to be finished! If you think you would be interested in buying him or even better if you had something to trade don't hesitate to respond. I will consider everything because I am really needing a safe horse sooner rather than later.

This is his pedigree:

I am located in Wright City Missouri which is about 45 miles west of Saint Louis. We are willing to travel 300 miles for a trade.

I don't mean to be rude, but on his critique thread, didn't you say you couldn't afford to feed him anymore? I am not sure why you would want to trade...

Not trying to be offensive, just curious.

Financially we are only able to have two horses right now. I am selling a few of our other horses so that we have room for my show horse and a husband horse. Thanks for your concern but I know what I'm doing :)

I think what she was getting at was that she can't afford to feed a horse that is not more useable by more people. Pretty common situation considering the current economy.

Ah, that makes sense then, I guess.

Good luck trading him.
