Not impressed. If this horse is jumping 3' and schooling 4' then they should show that. All I see are small crossrails and 2-2'6" jumping. And I did look at the videos.

Hardly awesome in my book.

being a tad bit rude you two?
No it is calling a spade a spade and being honest about it. This is not the Horsetopia site.

If you are going to ask near $10,000 for a horse then you should SHOW what a $10,000 horse can do. All they are showing is what a $3,000 horse does.

In a sale ad you better show its best side for there are way too many horses that can.

but do remember also...horse sales aren't down all around. In NY horse sales are still up and people can easily sell a good horse for alot of money. I mean I know people that just sold their $200 horse (what they bought it for) for $3600 and only owned that horse for 2 weeks (the horse was not registered, nor would I even consider her pretty) so sales are still up in different places.

prices in NY (around the Saratoga Raceway) are still up. Defintely not as high as they were, but they aren't low as other places. You can't say that prices are down everywhere because you have been been everywhere to say for sure. If I sold Sonny now (for an example) I could easily get $5000 if not more for him (and Im sure you'll say he's not worth it...and even if you won't...I know you're thinking it), where as if I lived elsewhere I might not because of the poor sales.

I think we'd led this away from topic as it was.
bway, I think she's a lovely mare with LOADS of potential and I'm sure she'll find a great owner soon!

Just a reminder of what you posted on the other thread.

Spyder, I have never once given an assumption on something that I'm not too sure about horse training wise. If I suggest something that I've never tried or I've heard worked but never tried it (normally in the health section), I will definately imform the person that "I've heard" or "I've never tried this but...".

Please don't assume anything. You don't know me, what I do, where I go or what I know.

she's a fairly cute mover, not bad over fences. if she's bombproof and as sweet as they say she is AND able to jump courses with a lead change. yeah, she could easily get $10,000 around here. maybe even more.

bway, i know you're advertising your horse and not asking for a critique, :D but just a little friendly advice... if you say your horse is schooling 4", then people will take that to mean that he can jump a 4" course and they're going to want to see that. if he has just jumped 4" before, I'd specify that. seeing a video of a horse going through a 2"6 gymnastic is nice, but what i really want to see (and what i'll really take seriously) is a horse jumping a course like it would be at a show. also, i'd specify what you meant by "a circuit". A circuit prospect? or has been shown there? if so, I'd mentioned how you did, what divisions, and at what show. she seems like a sweet mare, good luck finding her a good home.

The horse and my wife are in Texas and we are in NC so the video man is not there. So it hard for her to get new videos and pics. I don't mind people speaking there mind.

The horse is a super horse though very smart and loves to work. She will do anything you ask her to do. If she don't sale it not like we have a problem keeping her. We are just trying to cut down our Horses cause we both are in the Marines. SO we get deployed a lot now.
