Beautiful 9 Year Old Palomino QH Mare For Sale

I am selling my beloved Palomino mare due to time and financial constraints. It kills me to have to do this, but my children's activities and well-being come first.
"Dutchess" has been a wonderful trail horse, has competed in our local hunter/jumper circuit (taking 1 second place and 3 third places in her first time around an entire course) in the 2' Schooling Hunter division, and has served as a school/camp horse for a local city beginner riding camp.

She stands at 14.3 hands tall, has no vices, bathes, loads, stands quietly for the farrier/vet, and has the sweetest disposition you could ask for. She is currently boarded and kept in a stall during the night with daytime turnout. She has never colicked - she is an easy keeper. She has been shod in the past, but has been barefoot the past 3 years with no soundness issues whatsover.
Please check out her sale video at the following link:
YouTube - rongish1's Channel
We are asking $1500 for her.
Please contact me if you are interested.

Not in the market at the moment, but I wanted to say she is a beautiful horse. I am sure it pains you to part with her and hope you find the perfect new home for her.

what state are you located in? I am trying to convince my parents to get me a horse for my sweet sixteen and she is gorgeous over fences in the video.

All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl.

I am located in NE Kansas. She really loves to jump! We took her over a 2'6" fence the other day and it was nothing for her.
BTW..I see that you are in Steeler country! I'm a HUGE Steelers fan (even though I was born and raised in Kansas).

Has she been ridden by kids w/o being lead?

Horses and children, I often think, have a lot of the good sense there is in the world.

Yes she has. She was used as a camp horse for our city parks n' rec 'Horse n' around' camp. The kids were between the ages of 7 and 14. My 6 year old daughter can ride her by herself and my 9 year old son (who is not fond of riding horses at all) can ride her. She is very quiet and "mother-like" around children. She takes good care of them.

I would be very interested in her but unfortunately you are too far away , she is a very nice looking horse and seems to demostrate alot of good qualities. I hope you find an excellent home for her : )
