Beautiful B&W pinto Oldenburg mare by Art Deco for sale!

"Art Dancer" is a pretty and elegant black and white pinto mare by the fabulous sire - Art Deco, out of a TB mare tracing back to Secretariat. She is 14 years old in 2011 and stands just under 15.3hh in height.

A pasture accident as a baby left her with two fused vertebrae in her neck and it was felt by her owner and breeder (a veterinarian) that this injury affected her growth rate. With 2 foals at 16.2hh at 3 and 4 years of age, this seems to be a correct statement as this lovely mare throws babies that are much taller than she is on a consistent basis.

She scored a 105 at her Old NA inspection and her 2 foals were awarded Premium status.

Dancer is completely rideable and very quiet and laid back but due to her injury she cannot flex fully at the poll so a hack and pleasure home would be most suitable for her, where she is allowed to go in a long and low frame which is the most comfortable for her. She is a fabulous producing broodmare and truly is best suited to a breeding home where she may occassionally go on pleasure hacks only. She is completely sound with no vices and is a very easy and uncomplicated mare to deal with.

She is being offered for sale open, with a breeding included to either Guaranteed Gold - my 16.1hh cremello TB stallon for a 100% guarantee of a single dilute baby with the 50% chance of tobiano markings on the foal:

or to Winner - my 17.1hh homozygous grey Polish WB stallion who has completed and won at the Grand Prix level in Europe and has many offspring competing and winning at that level today, for a 100% guaranteed grey foal with the 50% chance of tobiano markings on the foal.

She is priced at $6500.00 and I can be contacted at: sales@truecoloursfarm.com or 519-443-0036 to discuss her further. A PARTIAL trade on a nice WB mare may be considered as well ...

My website is: www.TrueColoursFarm.com where offspring of both Guaranteed Gold and Winner can be seen

Thanks victorilicious!

Winner is a really cool stallion and if she ends up staying with me, he gets the nod for being the sire of her foal ... He is an amazing performance stallion with movement to die for and I think the cross will be amazing with the 2 of them. And then if she is still here next year, I'll try her with Guaranteed Gold then (well - unless the cross with Winner was SO amazing, that I just have to repeat it once again! )

Thanks again!

Oh I bet they would have a beautiful foal, plus the bloodlines would be impecable! If i were you I would have that baby right now, but I know thats probably not realistic :P She is gorgeous though, its a shame her growth was damaged, but whoever may get her will have beautiful babies for sure!

I really wanted to breed my mare that you like so much to one of Art Deco's sons, State of the Art but the owner never got back to me. I think my mare to that line would be freakin' awesome!!

State of the Art is a very nice stallion! Is he HZ? That would have been a wonderful cross with your mare!

But I have an even BETTER idea for you!

Buy this mare, breed her to GG and then you can get the dilute plus hopefully the pinto colouring and you can have your very own GG baby!

See - wasnt that simple?!

Would you like my mailing address so you can send me a cheque for her?!

Sure as long as you ship her to me before you attempt to cash that cheque =P. And yes he is hz and I like the way he's put together a little more than art deco. More like my mare. But yea...I would steal this girl in a heartbeat if I had that money. You should keep her, breed her to GG and I would buy the baby if it's a filly =). Cuz that gives me like 18 months to save haha.

Actually Ive already decided to breed her to Winner if she stays. Of course if someone else buys her they can breed her to whoever they want, but a WInner baby I think will be pretty darned amazing for sure ...

Start saving your pennies now ...
