Arrow Buckskin hg esquire+ 1/2 arab gelding

LQQKING to help this HG Esquire+ son who is located in Phoenix, AZ. Owner has placed him on Craigslist (Phoenix) & has him priced insanely cheap. He is now 5 YRO's ~ here is a video of him as a foal. Please note that his owner did NOT keep in touch with us so I can not share anymore than what I know from when he was a foal and with his breeder.

This one is eligible for $$$$ on the Arabian/Half-Arabian Circuit ~ located in the general area of 19th Avenue & Baseline in/near Phoenix, AZ. Also eligible for AWS Registration and Inspection. Scottsdale Show happening so could be likely to get a ride easily.

This post raises a lot of questions to me...like why are you so interested in "helping"? What is your relationship? Are you the stud owner? And, lastly why not just bring him back to VA for yourself, and perhaps rehome him here if you can't keep him?

Actually-just googled and you seem to be the stallion owner. If this were one of my horses progeny and I were THAT worried about it, I would probably pay to bring him home. It may pay you, after all, if word gets out that the babies are selling for less than they should, it may affect the value of breeding to him. I am no breeding expert, but I would wonder if I were ever considering it.......

That's a very interesting take??? While in some cases I might would agree with you, this is not one of them. In this particular incidence the quality of the gelding and his particular situation has absolutely no reflection on Esquire+ or the geldings siblings. While not his breeder, nor have I ever had the opportunity to actually meet this Esquire+ kid in person, I do care where he may go as I do with all of his offspring! In fact helped one make the trip from Ames, Iowa back to Virginia ;)

First-I am NOT an arab person. Not even close, so I know nothing about Arab breeding in particular. However, to say that horses with the same sire (or dam) have nothing to do with each other-I don't believe that for one minute. I can say that there are certain reining QH lines that just the NAME means $$. They could almost be one eyed and 3 legged. So the fact that this guy is for sale for $1K, which is less than the stud fee-could affect the value. Again-what was the dam? Perhaps it is bad pictures or he is going through a "phase", but he looks a little "wonky" to me. He was a beautiful baby tho! JMHO

And-if you aren;t the breeder-whydo you care? There are lots of horses out there who need homes.

Joe-have to agree. We posted at the same time. Apparently the OP thinks the name of the stud means $$?

Darn! He's a handsome fella and one of my favorite colors. Wish I could take him or knew someone who could. I'm about two hours north of where he is located.

Well I have been looking and learning about arabians lately, and if it was in VA, AND trained and ready to ride, I would definitely give it a look. What is the other half ? Is buckskin just a color ? Or is it also a breed ?. But worth a look.

I wish they had more pictures and video. It would probably help them sell him. He looks like a nice horse.

Ummmm...buckskin is always a color, never a breed.
