Awesome guy, great personality. Use him as a stallion, or geld him, your choice. Mature 14.3 \ 15H. Is UTD on worming, vet and farrier. I would not recommend him for a beginner. Does not act studdy at all, doesn't strike, kick. Has always been pastured w/geldings and other colts. Can see pedigree on allbreedpedigree. com name is Versas Bad Boon. I have pics posted here. I do need to get new ones, but please be patient, we have nothing but rain for the past few weeks. As soon as it clears up, I will get him cleaned up and get new pics. There are some baby pics, weanling, yearling, and most were taken this year.

I also thought that I would add, he does really well with the farrier. Not a huge fan of the vet, but he does ok if you talk to him, lol. I have no pics of him under saddle, etc. I do not start my horses until they are at least 3, he leads, ties, x-ties. If it will ever warm up, he will be getting a bath. He's good about most things.

Hi there! It might help to include a picture in your post. Also, I think many would want to know your location and your boys location. Is he registered? In the US, in today's market, $2500 is a lot of money for a horse unless they've accomplished something. What makes your boy worth so much? I'm not trying to be mean by asking that. I ask that as someone who has been offered three free horses by two different people in the last few weeks.

What is the HYPP status of your boy's sire? If his dam is N/N he shouldn't be HYPP positive unless his sire is.

Hello, he is APHA registered. His sire has no lines to HYPP. I am located in Maine. I am asking that price as I have put a lot of money into this guy. I understand that today it's very hard to sell horses, but I did take a few things into account. What I have paid for him, spent on him. What other horses similar to him have been going for. I think he has the potential to show. I just don't live in a horse friendly area, so he doesn't have too much of a career here. Lol, unless I can find a trainer out there somewhere who would take him next year, train and show. I'm not sure if there is even anyone who does that.

Good luck selling your boy. If his sire doesn't go back to Impressive and his dam is N/N I don't see a reason to test for that. I'm in IL and green broke registered (and show worthy) horses go for less than $1000. Unfortunately, it's easy to have much more in a horse than you can get out of a horse.

I wonder if APHA is having a hypp test on all new horses that are registered regardless of the parents hypp status.

Even still, I commend you for wanting get your guy tested for Hypp.
