Central VA, 16.3 h TB Gelding Free to Good Home

16.3 h Thoroughbred gelding.

Dark bay, with 3 white socks, a star, and a snip.

7 years old.

Registered Jockey Club name is Wildeyed Dreamer; barn name Wiley.

Wiley walks, trots, canters, and does flying lead changes.

NOT SOUND FOR JUMPING AT ANY HEIGHT.

Would make a great hunter on the flat, trail horse, or dressage prospect.

Wiley has a spunky personality, and a willing heart.

He is very loving, but needs a strong hand at times.

Beginner advanced, intermediate, or advanced rider ONLY.

Tolerates screaming children, tractors, 4-wheelers, flapping flags, plastic bags, cats, dogs, other horses, and much more.

If interested, please contact Claire Schiefer at 434-238-4015
.

Forgot to add, please call between 3:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. During the week, and 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. On weekends.

Also, this is not my horse. I'm posting him for a friend. If you want to know anything about him, please contact her.

If I could, I would. He'd be a great horse for my hubby.

Actually Charli, he'd be perfect for a man. He's big, and has no problems carrying a lot of weight. He's also been ridden in a Western saddle, and couldn't have cared less.

I know it's an uphill battle with trying to find a nonjumper a home on the east coast, especially in the winter, but Claire just wants him to go to a good, one owner home.

I'll definitely talk to him about it...and also ask some of my friends.

Thanks!

The Thoroughbred Retirement Foundation doesn't want him back, but will take him if another home can't be found for him.

Claire would rather he go to a real owner than back to the Foundation, though. He craves that one on one attention, and won't get it there.
