Chesnut QH gelding for sale.

Skip is an 8 year old Quarter horse gelding. I bought him off the people who bred him. His mom and dad are both registered. The only reason he was not registered is because his mother died before she could be DNA'd for his registration papers. He was raised on a cattle farm and was trained to work cattle, however they didnt have time to train him completely well, so they sold him to me. He was only ever rode in an Aluminum hack with a thick leather noseband. He neck reins fantastically in it and he has a great "woah". I have taken him around the barrel pattern a couple of times as well as poles, he does good on that. As well as jumping. He just needs to learn to pick his knees up. Other then that he can completely clear 3.5 feet easily. He ties and ground ties. He loads great, he stands for baths, he is good for the farrier, he swims in the lake and in ponds. And loves to be brushed and pampered. He is used to being in stalls, and out 24/7 he HAS had a bit in his mouth once, and he did fine with it. It was a rubber D ring snaffle. He is a forward horse but will not go unless asked. Which only takes a light squeeze. He will go straight from a walk to a canter. Or from a walk to trot. His transitions are great. If there is anything else you want to know feel free to ask. His price is 1000$ but is negotiable to the right home. Me and skip have a wonderful working relationship. But I am getting ready to go off to college and wont be able to afford to take him with me.
Some pictures of him. I HAVE proper conformation shots, they are on the laptop but I figure these will do for now until I dig them out.

I promise he doesn't stand this far under himself. He was just standing funky lol

Yeah he is very versatile. And young enough to go any direction at this point.
