We have a Clydesdale Cross, "Big JOHN,"
He is 8 years old, and we rescued.
I had thought, based on his demeanor then, that he would be a good horse for my 8 yr old son, but as he gained weight and condition, it became clear, he would not work for an inexperienced child.
He is very much broke to ride and suitable for any teenage to adult rider with a small amount of experience, but he just isn't a baby sitter type horse.
We are not looking for a fee for him, but I have to be certain you are giving him a great home.
I just had his teeth floated, hooves trimmed, and he is UTD on worming. He is sound, and he is healthy now.
He is 16hh and about 1100 lbs.
He trailers very well.
We are in WV, but within 15 minutes of Ashland, KY and South Point, Oh.
Delivery is possible.
This is my husband next to him for an idea of size - He is 6' tall. This is the most recent of him.
