Dance has been shown in Dressage at rated and schooling shows, and I have show records and scores available for serious inquiries. He has also been to a few hunter shows and shows a good amount of potential.
Recently, a pony that we had on free lease for my daughter was sold, and she has been riding Dance, he also seems quite happy to do this as well. After she got over her nerves of being on a big horse with lunge line lessons, she has graduated to riding him solo. He packs her around our ring at home, and will do ground poles and has not put a foot wrong. He is also well behaved with her while another horse is in the ring. I think that he would be great for a lesson program.
Dance has been jumping 2 feet at home, but has potential to go higher with a little training, this could easily be accomplished on your own, without sending him off to a trainer.
Dance requires no lunging before riding. Just hop on and warm up for a few minutes, and he is ready. Dance is also good with clippers, farrier, baths, ties on cross ties, and has impeccable ground manners. He will also self load on the trailer.
Dance also trail rides as well, alone or with company, does bridges, creeks, mudd and will even blaze a trail if needed. While Dance is listed as a 3 in temperment in the ring, he can be up on trails SOMETIMES. Yesterday, we did a two hour trail ride all around through woods, on a gravel road, fields etc, and on the way back for about a mile, he was lead with a BEGINNER on him. It just depends on the day and how he's feeling to see if he gets to be a handful. Dance has also ponied other horses on the trails, and is happy to do that as well.
Dance is priced at $9,500, but I am VERY negotiable to a great home, come see this boy, he is worth it.
