Shamrock is a 7 year old, 13.2 hand, purebred Welsh mare. She has had extensive training in hunter/jumpers including auto flying lead changes and she can jump up to 3 foot with the potential to go higher with more training. She is very much a ring pony and loves to show off (will trail ride but doesn't enjoy it). Temperament wise, this mare is very affectionate and would love to have a little girl of her own to love. However, she is not for a novice. Shamrock is eager to please, but needs a strong, patient rider to keep her focused on the task at hand. She has never been bred, but would make an excellent broodmare with looks and temperament to pass onto a future foal.
Shamrock is located at Taylor Made Stables in Damascus, Maryland. They are asking 5000 dollars for her, but the price is negotiable to the right home. They are only selling her because the barn has no time to devote to her and she has so much potential, especially in the show ring. She is pictured below.
