Double Registered: AQHA/Palomino Mare - $400/SW Ohio

Double Registered, AQHA and Palomino Horse Mare for sale. 18 years old. 15.2 Hands. Stocky build, western pleasure moving horse. Not famaliar with AQHA breeding at all (I am a gaited horse person) but I was told she has good bloodlines. She is a palomino w/ a crooked blaze and white feet. Her Reg. # is 3164260. HYPP results =N/N

She has trail experience and has some decent training in her from her past. She was used as a broodmare as well. Most recently (this past summer) she was at a Camp, and used there by the riders in their riding program. She will walk, trot and canter. Has a good "Whoa!". Not a beginners horse though!

She is an easy keeper, current on shots/worming, and is sound.

Her vices are: She does not like to be tied or crosstied. She isn't a puller or rearer on the ties, but she does Paw, Swing her butt around, and Swing her head around. She most of the time works herself into a sweat pattern on her neck. If you try to hold onto her halter (while tied), she will be nippy. This is the only time she is ever nippy. I don't think she does it to be mean, as she isn't a mean horse - I think its a nervous/bad habit from being tied. She is also sensitive about her hind legs with a farrier. She is quick to pick them up and then wants to put them back down.

I do not recommend her for a beginner horse person, as she needs some work with tying.

We're asking $400. Will consider reasonable offers or trades to a good home. We're located in SW Ohio, and can not help with shipping unfortunately (no trailer). I would be willing to work with a hauler if need be. I expect her to go kind of fast at this price, she is still a super nice mare for the money.

"Fancy at Camp"

"Fance home from Camp"

Thanks!

We are in Cincinnati area. I'm not real sure how far that is from WV. I'm sorry! :( She is good with other horses, she ranks low in pecking order out in the pasture.

I bought my horse from the Cincinnati OH area. I lived in Parkersburg at the time, and that was a good 3 1/2 hr drive!
