Sign a sales contract if only for $1 to make it legal. I can't help with figuring out his worth though lol. Honestly, if you love him and always want to be with him...he's priceless!

I agree with Quedeme. I got my TB for free, but we have a bill of sale saying he was sold to us for $1. Keep in mind, the initial cost of the horse (even though he's free... lol) is ALWAYS the cheapest! I would suggest saving up some money in case there is an emergency vet bill because of a nasty cut, colic, etc. Ask if he has any history of colic. Since you've leased him for 3yrs, you probably know most of the stuff you need to know.

So info is that he is an unregistered quarter horse cross (no ones know what with thought) he has done dressage, jumping to around 2 feet, gymkana, tons of trail miles, riden bare back in halter even in the field.... and he is 15 this year and is 15 hands. (he is a very cob like horse) I will attempt to post pics on sunday.

Hmmm, around here with just that info alone, he 'might' go for $1500-$2000 heavy emphasis on 'might'.

He sounds lovely though!
