Experiance TB Mare for lease (KY)

Since selling doesn't seem the best option in this economy I've decided to put my mare Venus up for lease. This will be a free lease at your barn. I will be checking the location before allowing her to leave. She is up to date on shots and I will have her coggins and health certificate done. Leasor will be required to maintain current shots, coggins, worming, and hoof care.

Venus is a well trained mare who's been eventing and a pony club horse. She is 16yrs old and perfectly sound with no health issues except she will require a good supplement to help keep her weight up. Solid hooves, trimmed natural barefoot. I've ridden her on the trail twice. She was strong but I think for the most part she didn't care for the endless walking. She's been jumped to 3'6" and trained to second level dressage. She is a smooth mare with a good laid back attitude. Good ground manners and easy to handle. I prefer to lease to someone currently under a trainer and actively showing. (The riding pics are from her previous owner, I purchased her last fall and have not been able to ride as much as I hoped)

Lease only within a three hour drive of my zip code - 42345
