I just have a few pieces of advice:
- take a trainer or someone else who is very knowledgable, and will provide you with an unbiased opinion on the horse
- get a vet check

Yes! Also trust your instincts about something...I was looking at a Hackney mare, and the woman wanted to know when I would be able to buy her, without me ever even seeing her in person, she tried to get me into a sale by giving me a deadline of the next week....I got off the phone quickly and never called her back.

So, vet check, experienced person to come with you, trust your instincts, and don't feel rushed to find anything!
