Exclamation Free 7 yr old palomino gelding rescue (companion only; sound)

I rescued Spirit back in November... He was 500lbs underweight (body score of 1/9) and had been badly beaten. I've got him to the point he will trust people on the ground, but I am 7 months pregnant and can do no further work... I've got a link with a picture and the full story about him here:
Horseville Horse For Sale - Free Sound Horse to Good Home - Ad 253438

Please realize, I am offering him FREE to a good home as a companion horse, since I am unable to know if he will ever be okay to ride. He does NOT have any health issues at all, he just doesn't seem to be inclined to overcome his past.

He's absolutely gorgeous . I wish I lived in your area and not so far away . I would take him in a heart beat .

Thanks... I couldn't turn down those big brown eyes... Underneath the poor coat and ribs, I knew there was a pretty boy hiding... I was right! I just have to do my best to find him a good home where he'll never be hurt again... Makes me cry that it can't be me, but I'll keep my promise to him!

The trainer (which I do respect...) told me the best bet for me getting rid of him is taking him to a rodeo for a bronc... but I just don't believe that... I've rescued other horses and still believe this guy has a chance, but I know where my time will be shortly, and need to make sacrifices that will hopefully benefit us both.
