Free lease to own wanted

True, Cat. The packers and confidence builders are rarely offered up as free leases, simply because they're in demand.

I don't know why everyone is so worked up.

I am always seeing horses available for a free lease off property. You pay all the horses expenses while it is in your care and sign a contract stating so as well as saying you or the owner give x amount of days notice to back out. Some require you put insurance on the horse while it is in your care.

A free lease on a lease to own is also fairly common. I see lots of great beginner horses or school masters available for such a lease. I think its a wonderful way to find out if the horse is right for you.

Well my days at work would be much longer and boring Sitting in front of a desk all day dealing with annoying clients and ad changes is enough to drive anyone batty. Thank god I have HF drama to entertain my simple mind

I really didn't think there was much to get worked up over. I just opened the thread - was surprised at what she was looking for in a free lease because around here the type of horse in that age range just usually isn't offerend with that type of deal - and so stated my thoughts and wished her luck. I wasn't intending to be mean, but oh well, this is the internet. Might as well have a little fun.

Don't know where you are but with the way the economy has been free leases are available just about anywhere you look. Again she is not looking for a free horse. She is looking for a horse to lease as in covering any and all expenses the horse has while in her care, but does not have to pay a fee to the owner of said horse.

I can't think of anywhere that I have not seen such a horse offered. People are trying to give really nice quality horses away with the price of hay and feed these days. So she really isn't looking for much all things considered.
