Fresian mare.....HELP

Hey can you guys tell me what you think? Im looking at the Fresian horse described below and Im just feeling a tad sceptical. She's willing to only charge me $800 incl shipping and tack from Victoria which is easily 1000kms away from where I live.......I dunno Im just a tad suss that's all.....

Isabelle is an absolutely stunning, flashy, Frisian mare! Sired by the incredible Approved Stallion, Gerryt, out of a Tsjerk STER mare, she is everything you could want in a Frisian mare. This TALL mare has a SUPERB pedigree… her motherline is FULL of STER predicates... STER-STER+PREF-STER+PREF-STER she is out of the tall STER mare, Marrit, and has over 21 generations of STER or better on her pedigree!!!----what a great motherline! This is a nice FERTILE line, and that is hard to find within the Friesian Breed. Isabelle is very friendly. She always has her head over the fence, looking for pats on the head, she loves to be loved on, and is in heaven when scratched. She is curious, and easy to handle. She is is halter broke and leads and ties nicely. She has had bathes and her feet are easily picked. This is an "in your pocket" kind of gal. She’s a smart little girl and it doesn’t take long to train her! But of course, she’s spunky, too! Isabelle is a GROOOOWING Girl, her Mother is a tall daughter of Tsjerk---known for producing INCREDIBLE MOVING offspring. Her mother-line is not only comprised of star/star preferents, model/model preferents which have been known for their performance and fertility, her Grandmother's sire is the one and only Oege Pref--known for passing on that LONG hair gene!! Isabelle sire, Gerryt, is Approved on offspring and is noted for producing a luxurious horse with a beautiful head, great extension, strong impulsion and a fantastic trot. Gerryt's ability to pass on this combination of performance excellence and stellar character has made him a top breeding stallion, and Gerryt offspring are hard to find, because his semen doesn't ship well---so they are rare gems! Gerryt competed at Grand Prix Level Dressage in Europe and is a a First Premium Ster Approved stallion and an excellent example of the FPS/FHANA desired sport horse appearance. This reasonably priced, already registered and microchipped mare is TALL and talk about long hair....her tail almost touches the ground!!! She has a long long refined swan neck, and she has been working out running up and down the hills. She is fit!!that all she looks like .we will love to ask the following question.15.3 hands,Temperament:3 (1 - calm; 10 - spirited)
how soon do you need the mare???
where are you located?????
we are selling the mare because of finances difficulties and we will love to see her move to a well looked all we are offering for her is just $800 this includes all her accessories such as a tack, rug, passport, saddle and a hand booklet on how she is trained.we will love to inform you she is good for both beginners and expert riders.that's all she looks like.
thanks and waiting for your honest reply

Oh and I just got this

Thanks for the mail, well one can say that again, for having such a high quality horse at that low rate, I will come to your agreement on one note which is that you will take very good care of the horse and as well as to provide to me with up dates of the horses pictures, so all you need to do now is for you to make the deposit payment to the name and address as bellow, and as soon as that is done I will then have your delivery details so I can arrange for the delivery of the horse to your home.

Hmmmmmm I mean id love a fresian but im really suss......especially considering I can't go see her (obviously). I mean what the hell does all that stuff about the breeding mean??

Honestly, it reads an awful lot like the other scam e-mails regarding having won the national lottery of a foreign country or responses to adverts wanting to pay double your asking price and have you refund the difference (which is all fine and dandy until you find out the payment they sent you is invalid and you are out massive $$$$ for having cashed it). The wording is very similar. In short, I would say if it seems to good to be true - and this certainly does - it probably is. Trust your gut.

You can generally almost ALWAYS spot a scam of this type based on the language usage in email - clearly english is not a first language and they use a rough translator.

I would put money on it this is a scam - if you found this ad on a legit site, I would send the add and all correspondence to the website admin.

ETA: These type of scammers often steal/cut and paste REAL ads and pictures, and repost them on less legit sites like craigslist or kijiji. They ALWAYS ask for a deposit up front and promise to "arrange delivery". I went round and round a few years back with a rental house I made the mistake of posting on craigslist, the picture and my ad was reposted verbatim all over the internet.

It might be worth taking the mares bloodlines, looking up the ACTUAL OWNER and passing this ad and information on to them so they can take further action if they choose to.

That has got to be a scam. They say make the deposit and as soon as it clears they'll arrange shipping????? I think your gut is telling you the right thing.

The second e-mail cements it for me as a SCAM! Do NOT send them any money, your "deposit" will be long gone and you will not have a horse to show for it.

Thanks guys. I always trust my insticts. *sigh* pity.....Id love a fresian.....but yeah I agree 99.999999% sure its a scam. So yeah......actually I went back and looked over the photos they sent and realized that the pics are not of the same horse and two are actually geldings/stallions as they have their tackle hanging free......darn.

Oh and I have done some research.

Gerryt (the sire) (Reitse x Doeke, stam 70) came to America in 2006. Unfortunately, I do not know a thing about him. He was not used very heavily in the Netherlands and his stats are pretty middle of the road. I do not recall seeing a lot of his offspring in the shows in Leeuwarden either. So, my knowledge is limited. He stands at Spearmint Rhino Ranch in California, which has purchased a few approved stallions lately. I do not know anything about these owners and could not find a website link at this time.Gerryt (Reitse x Doeke, stam 70) came to America in 2006. Unfortunately, I do not know a thing about him. And marrit her mother is for sale in England!!! So how do they explain that??? That blood line STER-STER+PREF-STER+PREF-STER belongs to a horse for sale in the netherlands......

There are hundreds, if not thousands, of scams for Friesians just like that.
