Going to view this pony tomorrow:

We sold Simba last month as were planning on moving abroad this spring. This has been put on hold for about a year I've spotted this little mare since we're going to be here for at least another showing season.

Selection of ponies for sale for sale in Monaghan : €300 - DoneDeal.ie

She is the little bay mare in the middle - about 12hh. I know she is 22, but as kiddie is very nervous I'm eager to get something with plenty of miles. She is registered, microchipped and has shown extensively throughout the country in both lead rein and first ridden classes.

She is priced at 300... I know some could say that it is too much for such an old pony, but I kind of think if she is all she is made out to be and she gives the little one a bit of confidence, it's money well spent.

Opinions??

Green Broke
She looks cute. But if you are only going to be there another year or so, will you be able to sell her or place her when you need to move? Maybe a lease option would be better.

I already have discussed this with a friend of mine, her daughter has no experience and is just starting lessons so she wants to take the mare on after.

It's quite difficult to find lease ponies here, I've gone as far as to contact the Irish pony society and several welsh pony studs with no luck at all. You will find plenty of green broke youngsters for lease, but very few quality ponies with experience.
