I am offering for your consideration a 13 year old gorgeous registered Selle Francais Warmblood mare. She has had an extensive career in 3 day eventing and has had one lovely filly by the stallion,Bravo. She is a lovely dapple bay with just enough chrome. She has excellent ground manners She can be ridden english, dressage, and western. She has hard to find bloodlines as her sire was the late Olympic stallion,Heisman. Kadija is fully registered as a Selle Francais and has her French passport. Additionally has papers from Oldenburg and is listed in the Main Mare Book with an excellent score of 98.
Kadija was sold to me as riding sound and while she usually is she will occasionally start limping in one of her fronts at the trot. She is fine at other gaits. I was told by a previous owner that she may have had a past injury during her jumping career, but that is supposedly had healed. Most of the time she is fine to ride and has been ridden on and off for the past several months with only occasional lameness. She is about 16.1-16.2. My vet thought she could be competing sound again with hock injections. Or she would be perfect for use as a schoolmaster, lessons, breeding, or pleasure. She really is a lovely mare and I will hate to see her go.

Just wondering, if you only want pm's for serious inquiries why not have her price out there? I am not currently shopping, but when I am I never know if I should waste a buyers valuable time.

In this case she is lame in the front, but the vet thinks hock injections will keep her sound...apart from being confused I wouldn't even know where to start price wise.

GoldenHorse- Anyone interested in her is more than welcome to PM me and discuss price I am asking. My comment on "serious inquiries please" is to weed out the people not currently looking for a horse. If someone emails and says they will be looking to buy a horse next year (you would be surprised at the amount of times this happens) then yea...I'm going to think that isn't a serious inquiry. Anyone actively looking for/interested in getting a horse and has the means to do so is absoulutey more than welcome to PM as mentioned before :)

I understand where you are coming from. However a quick "how much are you asking" to a seller really isn't much effort and it takes about 30 seconds to write in an email so I would really not consider that a big waste of time.

The reason I have no price listed on this particular horse is that price changes as training,exposure,soundness,etc.,etc,etc. Change. Listing a set price on a forum that doesnt let you change posts is stupid in my honest opinion. Anyone is absolutely more than welcome to inquire for a current price if they are seriously lookimg to buy a horse and not just curious. I'm not sure why a quick question is hard for some people and if you pass up 99% percent of ads because you didn't want to waste your time on a 30 second email then you have probably missed out on some great horses:wink:
