Handsome reg. QH '09 grullo roan gelding FS

Registered Name: Gray Sky Aledo Elite a.k.a Wolf
Reg. # 5272078 link to pedigree: Gray Sky Aledo Elite Quarter Horse

Height: 14hh(will go out and measure him again tomorrow if possible to double check and make sure that is correct)

Born: 6-3-09

Info: Wolf has all his ground work done and just needs someone to hop up in the saddle and continue the next stage of his training. Smart boy who picks up things quickly and tries his heart out to please. Easy keeper,UTD on all vaccines and has current neg coggins. Stands well for vet, farrier, clippers and to be tacked up. Since I've had him I have used CA techniques and he has come along so nicely. He takes a little patience on loading(meaning no rushing) and when we loaded him to bring him to the farm when I had gotten him and when we took him to get gelded this past Feb. After a slight hesitation he hopped right up into the stock trailer and stood quietly while I tied him up. After that he hauls nicely. Still plays with the bit for a minute or two after you bridle him but once you are all set he stops and is ready for work. I had big plans for him and had wanted to show him but an unplanned pregnancy(baby #4 to be precise) and then major complications following have dashed my plans and I don't feel its fair for Wolf to sit and waste away in a pasture with no job. I'm sure I forgot to mention something so don't hesitate to ask questions. Due to a broken camera I do not have any good current conformation shots but will be going out to get some this week. Asking $1000 o.b.o. Would love for him to go to a show home or just simply one where he will be loved, have a job and be well taken care of.

These two pictures are the most current..

And these next ones are from not long before..

Thank you for looking..

Thanks :) So far I have gotten quite a bit of interest on him. Just waiting on a lady to give me what day she would like to come out and look at him. Forgot to mention also that he is super easy to catch. Can have the halter in plain sight and he will still come right up to you for lovings and stands to have you halter him. Low man on the totem pole also. And to top it off here are some pics I got today. Unfortunately I had no help. :( So these were the best I could get.....

Gorgeous boy. Too bad I'm at least another 4 years from being able to get horse #2. I hope you're able to get a good situation for him.

Cowgirl- I might just have to unsubscribe from this thread. Wolf just kills me. I'm not one to say "oh I want this animal" or "I wish I could have him" lightly, but If I wasn't getting moved cross country and deployed in the next couple of years (not to mention finishing up my gelding), I might be making you two a visit. As is, I'll have to note his reg name down so if fate comes by years from now, I'll know him.

Now, I need you to post "YAY, I JUST found the PERFECT home for him" so I can stop mooning over your little guy. Okay? ;)

:) Ty. I'm doing my best and am trying to find the best fit for him. Thought I had one found but then it turns out the person and their child are horse traders and buy horses for as cheap as they can get them, put some time into them if need be then turn around and sell them again. I felt so sick to my stomach thinking bout Wolf being in that type of situation. I know that once I sell him anything after that is out of my control but I couldn't bring myself to do it right off the bat..Know what I mean? I'm probably being silly but my animals are like my children and I want whats best for them and that just didn't feel right to me... Have gotten another wave of emails on him so I have my fingers crossed that one of these might be the one for him.
