I figured this is a scam but I emailed the person just for the heck of it. Well, firstly, this is the friesian: Friesian Horse For Sale, Texas, GARLAND

The reply from the girl was this:

Hey There,

Thanks for the inquiry.I got your mail in regards
to the Friesian Gelding up for adoption.
This is to let you know that the horse is still available.
He is call Pualus. Please let me tell you some details for Pualus.
he lives with me under a shed behind my home .He was
born on April 2004.Pualus has been worked with from birth
and has wonderful manners, ground, stable, and saddle.
He has been trail-ridden extensively, and crosses water,
covered bridges, rides alone or with others.Pualus
was trained to drive by me as a 2 year old.he is 16.1HH
he is very calm and adores playing with kids, adults ,and
other house hold pets.he loves taking rides.
We are presently here in Oregon for a 9months church project
and we just rented a home here at 220 E Washington Ave, Brownsville OR.We have
plans on staying here for sometime.
you are more than welcome to visit us at any moment.we are a very
welcoming family.I am giving the horse up for adoption because my
17yrs old daughter
(Jennifer) who was taking care of him passed away
months ago through a car accident
when she was on her way back from her piano classes. So the occupying
nature of my job does not permit me to keep Pualus. Giving Mara out to
another home will be a way of wiping
Jennifer's memories from my head which is making me disturbed each
time i think of her.
To adopt him,i will like to know this from you.
Are you a breeder.?
have you had a horse before?
will you be willing to send me some regular pics of Pualus so we can
see his progress. .?
How soon will you want to have him transported to you if you find
difficulties to come for the pickup ?
As for your further training of Pualus I will also be sending you some
basic guidelines to you via email ,so that you follow as soon as he
arrives
you.If you have any more questions to ask, just
let me know.will also like to know when you will like to have him.
attached to this mail are the pics of the horse..
Do have a nice day and get back to me at your Convenience.
Stay blessed like i said if i have to deliver him
he will be safe as he will come along with people who
will take great care of him as he gets to your
home , he will just be so comfortable and we have have to work out
this.the $800 i listed on the advert will be for the
transport charges.
the horse was given to us free by our family friend Rev Matt Demott
and we promise him we shall give
Pualus free to another home if we decide to part away with him
.anyway just let me know if this is okay with you .
I will be expecting to read from you soon

^^It's long, I know, and I only said a few short words to her.
Anyway, I caught how the girl accidently called the horse Mara, so I was puzzled about that. But, what are your opinions on this? I personally am still thinking it's a scam, but what do I know?
Oh, and, by the way, I also stumbled across another add with the same exact words as the first fresian and it had the same exact pictures, except the horse's name+location+price was changed.

Also: pretty sure there's no such place as "Brownsville. Oregon". Maybe there is, but it would have to be so in the boonies that it would be totally ludicrous to even think for a second that there might be a Friesan there.

Probably a scam or a really weird lady! She makes it sound like you already bought the horse! Since she accidently called him Mara once, it probably means she makes up different horses and tries to sell them, getting people's money and never selling the animal, or the animal being nothing like they described him as. Plus, no one sells any decent Freisian for $800...
