holy just wow.

So I saw this horse for sale that sounded quite nice right and i enquired about it, they gave me the information it sounds quite nice and she sent me threw 2 photos and one photo made me realised i enquired about this horse a month or two ago. they look completely different the pictures( though if your looking close enough you can figure out the sweat patches and the person riding her makes her look different in that photo, its just the photo that makes her look different)
Anyway so i enquired, first off she was up for sale for 3300 and then i saw the second add it said 1500 which was another reason it didnt click. So i texted her about the mare and she really wants to swap for a bigger horse. I asked her how quiet is her mare and she says suddenly she wants 2000 for her and shes incredibly quiet, though when i enquired the first time i was told(i went back to the email and re-read) she needs an experienced riding and is very jigjoggy very fast. so anyway she kept asking do i have any horses id trade and i said i have a tb that may be up for sale in the future and she asked how tall is he, i said about 16.1 and she automatically said i'll take 1000 and him.
So now im fully put off, though shes still texting me because theres something iffy about how desperate she is to get rid of this mare for something 'bigger' she wrote 'she becomes a little fresh yes but thats only after a year or more, she is experienced, very responsive, responds to bit perfectly shes just to small for me to ride im 100 kilos she could carry me easily i just prefer something bigger, i actually bought her sight unseen.'
Ok so then i said i paid 2500 for my boy and she texted me before '800 cash today and your gelding'
I said sorry atm hes at the trainers so his price will go up if i still decide to sell him and she said 'all good. 1500 cash and shes urs'.
i said ill have a chat nd will text you if we can come have a look at her and she said 'sorry have someone come to get her needed her gone asap'

so she wants my horse, extra money and she refuses to let me ring her, send footage or let me actually have a look at this horse?

i dont know if this all made sense but from the texts shes realy sounding like shes desperate to get rid of this mare. ive never enquired a horse before and had such a gut feeling to run away kicking and screaming if that makes sense. the horse looked and sounded really good but im only 18, got plenty of time to search for something else. but wow, never dealt with such a strange person.
Has anyone else had any strange talks with srtange people buying or selling horses

Yes, I've talked to at least one weird seller. Secondly, I would not consider that horse for another second.

She sounds absolutely desperate I agree don't just walk away from this deal but RUN! I'd tell her that she sounds too desperate and you want nothing to do with her or the horse! Never dealt with anybody quite like this but close! Never a good idea to make deals with shady people. I'd especially never trade my horse to some crazy person like this because I would be worried about what they would be doing with my horse!

Seriously, just run! You might also want to change your phone number.
