horse hauler scam

I have just had the worst experience with a horse hauler she was supposed to pick up my horse and one of her babies on the 17th well several days later we finally got a response from her she had one excuse after another very hard to contact had to leave several angry voice and e-mail messages to contact her she was paid in advance and never picked up the horses she even had three people on standby over Christmas eve and Christmas waiting to load or receive the horses told us that they would be picked up on the 24th and droped off the 25th and when we finally contacted her she simply said she had decided to be home for the holiday she never bothered to call anyone to let us know she was not going to be on time or that she would not be there at all we have now booked someone else and are in the process of trying to get the money back but seriously doubt that will happen I do not think I should put any names on here but if you are planing on having a horse shipped and would like to avoid this person just pm me and I will explain more

Most reputable shippers only charge half (at the most), and the balance upon delivery. Get as much documentation on the shipper as possible & any correspondance you may have saved, and file a complaint with your state attorney general's office.

I had the same problem the guy gave a discount for pay up front and though my horse did actually arrive it was a nightmare and many others lost all their money.
