I need to sell my horse Diamond ASAP. Im in need for money right now, so i cant enter horse shows and stuff.

He is a temperment 1.
15.2hh
10y.o
like the best trail horse EVER!!!
I have put a two year old girl(who has a pony) on Diamond and all he did was walk around the arena.
He hates cantering in small areas, on the trails and road he is great.
I think he has a smooth gallop, and canter, but for some people not so much.
Diamond is willing to please.
He is pure Standardbred
loves loves loves kids.
good lesson horse
he is a bit chubby in this photo but that was last summer he has lost weight.
When you are on him if he is a good boy and you say hug and pull the rein he will give your leg a hug:) (that is the last pic)

Wait - is Clippy also "Rowdy"? I'm just confused because you say you don't need two horses but you need to sell Diamond to get another horse ASAP and if you have Clippy, Rowdy and Diamond that is three?
Not nitpicking, but when selling a horse it is best to be absolutely straightforward or people may think you are trying to unload a problem horse under the guise of another reason.

Wow, I wish I could buy him. I'm looking for a confidence builder. Course I'm in the Upper Peninsula and probably pretty far away even though I'm still in Mi, but I sure do like him.

NO that was before, when i also couldnt pay for another horse, but now we moved to a cheaper p/m boarding place, so i can pay. But i need a gaited or faster horse for the long rides we will be going on. Diamond has a really rough trot, and i have a weak stomach so when we go on road rides with him i intend to throw up. That is OLNY cuz i have a weak stomach. Everyone else who rides him think he is smooth

I'm sorry but by reading this thread there's no way on earth I would purchase that horse. It sounds like a scam, or like you have no idea what your doing or what you want, or that your horse has issues and your trying to pawn him off as being the perfect pony.

With that attitude, I don't see anyone wanting to buy your horse.

The fact is, you gave conflicting information, and when people are looking to buy a horse, they first thing they will notice is if the seller isn't being consistent in what they say. You can either get defensive about it, or realize what people are pointing out and try to remedy it.

I am confused too. What did she say that was inconsistent? Im pretty sure she said she thought his canter was smooth but his trot is not. This thread is pretty old and it looks like her motives for selling changed, but she still wants the horse sold. And so what if she wanted the horse sold because she couldnt afford to show her other horse? Shes 14, what good is it to her or the horse if the horse doesn't suit her needs? Sure, maybe you or I wouldn't do it, but she certainly has the right to. I have seen people sell horses because they can't afford hay anymore...I don't start lecturing them about it and that's certainly worse.

wow people sure like to give you a hard time... I could totaly understand everything that you are saying about diamond... For one he's your horse so you should be able to sell him for whatever reason you see fit, I LOVED my filly Stella more than any other horse and had to sell her to help my mom with bills and so i could put onyx into training, i didn't want to do it but sometimes there's just no way around it. It looks to me like Diamond isn't what you want and when you have a horse like that you will tend to push them aside and ride the other horse more. So really that's not fair to the horse. I think it would be best to find Diamond a nice owner who likes to go on on trail rides that doesn't mind a bumpy trot. :) so yea that's all i have to say.
