Horse sellers and boarders beware

People guilty of cruelty to animals often get only probation or a fine and then go right back to crime in no time. www.pet-abuse.com is a good site to check out before giving or selling or boarding an animal with anybody. Geraldine Trupia(Norcrest/Middle Creek Farm) in Steuben County NY starved a lot of horses and 9 died or had to be euthanized and she only got 3 months probation. Two and possibly more of the dead horses belonged to other people. She starved one to death in just 3 months. I used to post on a board with the owners of 2 of them. The mares names were WeWeC and Lipstick Kiss. She conned people into giving her a stallion named Dunsinyne and he was one of those that died. Someone else is still wondering if his mare that died there last year was a victim of starvation or other neglect. Kill buyers are also known for lying and claiming they will give a horse a good home and one man back when claimed to have a horse rescue and a waiting list of people looking for horses and instead was taking the horses to an auction with kill buyers. A TV station exposed him after they donated a horse and had to rescue her from the slaughterhouse.
