Horse Trader Tricks- Don't Be A Victim!

I think even experienced horse people can learn something from the website called horsetradertricks.com. It's a free site largely written by victims of bad traders in an effort to help others avoid the same situations. It's a much more comprehensive site now, two years after its creation. Lots of examples of how dishonest horse traders cheat buyers and although the Trader Horror Stories posted on the site make me smack my forehead in disbelief that anyone can be so stupid, it's happened to me...

What do other readers think of it?

I think it's got some really good info on it. Perhaps you should cross-post it in the general forum where more people would see it :)

Good idea, DimSum! I'm trying to help spread the word- even one person saved from being scammed will be a success.

Instead of making another thread, why not ask the Mods to just move this one?

Besides, didn't you already promote that website around the same time last year? It's the only thing you've ever posted about here, so I'm wondering if it's your website and you're just trying to drive traffic to it.

I am hopeless with computers and don't yet understand how forums work. What is a "Mod" please? And how do I ask one to move a thread?

I'm sure you all get tired of people on here who don't know what they're doing. I don't blame you. I already reposted the comment in a thread that I think is general chat but I won't do it again.

Didn't see your other post. It's not my site but I did contribute a story to it. And yes, I'm trying to help drive people to it. I'm freshly motivated because I just heard about another friend of a friend who had an AWFUL experience with a bad trader. There's so much heartache involved and I wish I'd known this stuff before I got screwed...hoping to help other people avoid it.
