Hi I just wanted to get some opinions of how much you think I should put my horse up for sale.

14.1 hh, rising 9, stunning skewbald gelding.
Lightweight cob x, general all rounder and would suit a experienced teenager or adult wanting to have some fun.

Will hack out in company and alone with encouragement, has done endurance, long distance hacking and general local shows. Would do brilliant in the show ring and has bags of potential, but up for sale due to my exams coming up and not having the time, very sad sale.
Great with farrier, upto date with teeth and vacs, barefoot, no vice, has been professionally backed.

Easy to catch comes to call, can live with mares and gelding has lived with 16hh+ and Shetlands, holds himself beautifully.

Only problem is he can be a spooky to begin with uptill he knows you but once that's established he thrives on routine
Price will include full wardrobe

What price do you think ?

He sounds green and unreliable. I wouldn't pay more then $800 USD. And that's if he was flashy (color sells) and had a good personality with excellent ground manners. If not, I wouldn't look twice at him.

It's hard to give an estimate without a picture--he could be a real looker (price goes up) or could have some serious conformation faults (price goes way down).

We have a pretty solid horse market here in CO... I'd say the VERY top would be $5,000. But that's if you have a beautifully put together, really flashy looking horse with lots of potential.

Because you are overseas I have no clue, comp shop him in your classifieds.

Here he'd be near $1,000-$2,500 USD depending on his looks, he's a grade and not dead broke, not tremendously tall, but English riders tend to pay more here because its a niche market.
There are really nice, registered, green or project western horses going for $900 or less in my area. But they're around $2,500 and wayyy up for finished and/or kid mounts.
