Name: Mozart (I think that's his "show" name too... unsure though)
Age: 8-10 (unsure of REAL age... due to no real info on him...)
Breed: Warmblood I believe... can anybody identify???
Pedigree: unknown, will get more info...
Training: EXCELLENT with ground manners, good with hooves, has never bit, kicked, bucked, or reared except in play (and even then it's rare). He'll stand tied... but is not a big fan of it. He'll toss his head, but he never tries to "escape". Easy to tack up. He's had basic W/T/C work done, and he's pulled carts a couple of times. He has no work over jumps, though he could be trained to do so. He is great with the farrier, and loves to be groomed. He will follow you around like a puppy. I'm unsure as to all that he's done with riding, but he WAS in a movie... ;) He was an extra... but he's still a movie star. He's done a lot of trails, and he's worked on the nearby track. I think that he has pulled a cart at one point. He hasn't been ridden in a couple months from what I know... maybe longer. I've seen him being ridden... and he didn't look very difficult. No head-tossing (in exception when there were some flies), the person didn't have a VERY strong hold on the reins, and she was talking to someone else, not paying much attention to him.
Feeding Needs: Hay (grass hay or alfalfa, he's not very picky except when it comes to treats), and a couple scoops of oats (not rolled) in the morning. Might have to "up" it if I end up working him harder.
Here are some pics (yes... he's thin... one reason why I want to buy him and get him away from his current owner):
^^ Heh... I learned what it was like having flies all over your eyes... not fun...
I'll try and get a video next time I go out... so you guys can see how he moves (not under saddle... sorry).
He was much more friendly today than he was yesterday. He kept coming up and wanting to cuddle with me. :) I need to get him some fly spray... the flies are attacking them SO bad... He hates peppermints though... I know that for a fact... :P
