He looks very nice. Coloured horses used to be my fave.

I can remember how badly I wanted a horse only a about 4 years ago. I couldn't understand why my parents wouldn't let me have one. Now I'm older I realise how much money is envolved.

That horse is very nice but he looks expensive. Maybe if you thought about buying a cheaper one your parents might be more happy to get you one.

But I know what it feels like to see a horse that you want so much. I was supposed to be getting an andalusian gelding. I was already looking aftre him like he was mine, but then his owner needed to sell him and we didn't have the money yet.

In the end we did have the option to buy him but I got a bay andalusian filly instead. I can't ride her yet as she is only just two but she will be well worth while when she is older. I bought her off the same person I was getting the gelding from and she says Lupita(my filly) will be 10 times a better horse than Chicco(the gelding).

I also have a smaller pony who only cost me £80! He was 4 month old when I got him and he's almost 3 now. We only just started riding him. I had to wait all that time!

Getting a youngster is something you might want to think about because you really get to bond with them well as they grow up. Unless you are desparate to ride.

There's been times when I really regretted buying Lupita because I can't ride her yet and she cost soooooo much more money than an ordinary cob would have cost that I could ride.

Fortuneately I have lots of kind people around me who let me ride tehir ponies and horses. Are there any horses you could ride while waiting for a youngster to grow up?

I do hope you can get the horse you want though. That would be nice. Is he on a yard near you so you have contact with him?

One last thing to think about, partially the reason I didn't get my gelding. I was told its a better idea to have a mare because if a gelding ever gets lame really bad and cant be ridden ever again, the horse is wasted. But with a mare they can be used as brood mares.

Hope this helps and sorry its a long reply.
