Hi everyone, I have two thoroughbred geldings for sale - an eventer and a dressage horse. You will have to email me for photos as technology hates me.. a lot. They are up for sale a lot cheaper than they would normally be as they need to go (Grade 12, lack of grass, lack of room).
‘Turbo Drive’ – 2000 chestnut thoroughbred gelding by Marscay, out of a Sir Tristram mare. ‘Toby’ stands at 16hh and has a very sweet, willing personality. Easy to s/f/c/w/w. He has shown forward, correct paces with a fantastic walk and a canter that scores 8s in dressage tests. His trot is very easy to sit, even in the lengthening. Established leg yield, walk-canter transitions. Started shoulder-in and travers. Toby is a very willing ride in the arena and loves his dressage. Very soft mouth. Has scored up to 74% in Prelim and 60% in Official EA Novice. Life reg. EA. Toby has had numerous wins and placings in dressage competitions for limited outings, including 5th Overall Zone 27 PC Dressage 2010, 5th overall Crompton Park Official PC Dressage 2010 and 6th Overall PCAQ State Dressage Championships. Toby will not jump, but is happy with trot poles. Would make an ideal horse for an older rider or confident teen looking for the ideal straight dressage horse to compete on in EA, PC, ARC and interschool. For sale as the current rider doesn’t have time with grade 12 to continue his training. $3,750. Price is negotiable, home is not. Experienced riders only.
'WhoIsJoeStarr' - 1999 chestnut, thoroughbred gelding by Rustic Amber, half brother to successful Australian eventer, Kirby Park Allofasudden. Joe stands at 16.2hh and has a very quiet, sweet personality. He is very easy to s/f/w/w but can be difficult to catch without a treat. Joe has huge, correct paces with a very sittable trot and forward, flowing canter. He generally scores 7s for paces in dressage. Joe has established shoulder-in, leg-yeild, travers, counter-canter and turn on the haunches and is training walk-canter transistions and rein back. Joe can get bored easily with straight dressage as he much prefers to jump. He has jumped 1m+ with previous owner and has taken myself (a nervous teen) to 90cm. For his very limited dressage and sporting outings, Joe has received numerous ribbons and was the 2008 REGI Prepatory Reserve Champion and the 3rd overall in the 2009 Zone 9 Sporting Championships. Joe would make the ideal Interschool horse as he has good enough paces for dressage, showman and combined training, pretty enough for hacking and jumps brilliantly. He would very much suit a confident teen/young adult looking for a horse to excel in dressage and jumping. $4,000. Price is neg, home is not. Experienced Riders only.

- Toby is currently in competition condition and will continue to compete as my second horse until sold. Joe is in paddock condition and has recently had an allergic reaction to seed ticks but is quickly recovering and regaining the small amount of hair lost.
- I would prefer it if Joe went to a tick-free area as he does react badly to tick bites.
