Lightbulb Intelligent, sane 3 yo TB mare for lease/sale (PA)

I'm currently looking to lease/sell my 3 year old TB mare, Libby. She is currently 15.1 hh and will probably mature to about 15.3/16 hh. Libby is a dark bay with only a small white star under her forelock. Throw away your preconceived notions, this is not your normal young thoroughbred mare! Libby has never spooked, bucked or reared, even when a noisy motorcycle roared past her on her very first trail ride. She is extremely intelligent and willing, and super sweet. This mare does not have a mean bone in her body! Green broke, with a solid walk, trot, whoa, back and currently working on a canter. She will make a fantastic hunter jumper, trail/pleasure mount, eventer, or lower level dressage prospect. Libby has a smooth, flowy tot that will be sure to get you noticed! Though technically green I have trusted this mare with a beginner rider and she took care of them like an old school master. Wonderful, polite ground manners, and a true lady under saddle. Don't miss out your chance to finish this mare your own way, she is sure to become a barn favorite. Also a great, SAFE option for a 4-H project. With a loving home and some more miles, this mare has every chance to become a star. Her sire is the athletic and well know Congressionalhonor, see him here: ( Congressionalhonor, stalllion directory, horse breeding ) Libby is full TB and is registrable, however at this time she is not. I wish I could keep this amazing find for myself, but unfortunately it's not financially reasonable at this time.

Leasing is preferably on the farm. For more information, please contact me. I will continue to pay her vet and farrier expenses, you will be responsible for board. If off the farm lease, it will be free lease but you are responsible for all expenses.

If interested in adopting Libby, her adoption fee is $350, negotiable to the right home. A no-auction clause is required.

Please email or call 717-314-0587 for more information. I will also check comments on this thread on a regular basis. Pictures are from October 2010, she has had a growth spurt since.
