I thought it would be a lot easier to, I guess with the economy the way it is not many people are looking for a lease.

I know you said on-farm lease only, but have you checked around with other jumping barns in the area, to see if they have anyone looking?

A couple of people have asked to take him off farm. I am personally not comfortable with letting him off farm. I have heard and witnessed so many horror stories about it. Especially with me being out of the country I would like him to stay with my trainer, who I trust. I know things can always go wrong, but I would rather him be somewhere I know.

Oh, I totally understand that, I just didn't know if maybe there were any other reputable stables near you that would have someone that didn't mind coming to another barn to ride for the duration of the lease. Or if maybe they had someone who had approached them looking for a lease that they weren't able to accommodate.

There are a few around us that are reputable, but also that are known for jumping their horses pretty hard and I'd like to save his legs lol. I think I'd be a little more flexible if I were in the country, but not being around if something goes wrong with someone who I don't know and doesn't really know him just makes me nervous
