Jumping Prospect??

Video-
Super hunter mare winner at 2'6" | Buy this Horse at Equine.com
Lucky Runner aka Luna has 18 month professional training in Florida. She is and has been owned by a large animal vet.

She was shown and has taken 1st & 2nd place ribbons at 2’9? Hunters shows, has jumped 3’6? With a rider.

A sweet mare who hauls, ties and is great at the shows. She has been to an inspection and a rated show with her embryo transfer foal. She has been a great recipient mare has been easy in every way. She does not have any known bad habits.

She has been great to get me back into shape after not riding in years. She knows her leads, has he changes, is always willing over the fences, never scared of the fences. An all around wonderful gal who will give you her heart to please you.

She has a wonderful trot with daisy cutter movement, very uphill in the canter.

What do you think? I want a horse I could learn more advanced jumping on. Thanks!

I like her! If she were in my area and in my price range I would definitely go take a look and try her out. Ask to see her jumped higher or at least free jumped if nobody can jump her higher for you. Definitely has potential!

I like her a lot. I would go try her out; she looks like a very willing schoolmaster.

She has a great willing jump, and looks very happy. If you search jenniferwt on youtube and look at the video Luna, that is her.

I hate to go against the grain here, but if it is a jumper you are looking for - then I would pass. She is terribly over priced (at least for my area, I don't know CA prices) for her jumping form. And unless those standards are 6' plus, I don't think those are 2'6'' jumps.
I'd say she was willing but not enthusiastic, however the rest of her personality sounds like she is a sweet girl.

if she is a safe, sound jumping horse for you to learn on and help you move up I don't think she's over priced at all. I just sold a horse very similar to her for $5000. Good jumping horses are very hard to find.

I think if you're into the Hunter style of jumping, she may be something to look at. As far as show jumpers... Eh. She just doesn't come across as one. She's not very forward to the fences, doesn't seem overly excited to see them, if you get what I mean. She's not bad, she has no problem going over them it seems, and she seems content to do so.

I do, also, believe she is over priced based on the VIDEO. Maybe go ride her yourself or ask for a video that shows her jumping as high as they claim she has been.
