Due to a back injury, I will not be able to ride for some time. I’m looking for an experienced Western rider to enjoy my palomino gelding. Woody (Hollywood - check under my horses) is 10 years old and 15.1h. You must be an intermediate or better rider since my boy is a very pushbutton horse and I don’t want a beginner to ruin his training. He is an excellent trail horse that will ride comfortably in a group or alone. He never rears, kicks, bucks, or bites. In exchange for riding, I expect some help with feeding, barn chores and to split only the farrier and feed expenses (farrier is $70 every 6 weeks, and feed runs ~ $45/month). I will supply all the tack but if you have a saddle that fits him, that is OK to use. References are a must.
