    Lessee?

Okay. I'm still really new here so not a lot of you know me.
I'm currently horseless and looking for a horse to lease...

But I'd really like to just buy a horse. I'm tired of leasing. I just want my own horse that I don't have to give up once the lease is over. I'm tired of losing horses that I really care about. I'm just done with it.

Now, here's what I've been thinking...
I'm pretty sure that if I could find someone that would lease from me, than my parents would seriously consider buying a horse instead. It could be a partial lease, or half lease, or whatever. The amount of days and price would be discussed later, but it would be a lot less than you would normally pay for a lease, I assure you.

Personally, I don't understand why my parents want to lease, because in the end you're paying MORE money monthly than you would if you owned. And than you don't even have the horse.

So if any of you would be interested, or know ANYONE who wants to lease than let me know. I'm looking for a horse 15.3-16hh or taller with potential to jump and good conformation. There's a couple that have caught my attention and I'm looking into. I understand this is a bit weird as I don't have the horse yet, but as I've said, we couldn't buy if I don't have someone to lease.

    Help me out on this?
I live in Pinellas County, in Florida. PM me for more info, as I don't just want to broadcast it out on the board, ha ha.

    Thanks in advance!

My parents do the same thing! All they want to do is let me lease. I try telling them that buying would be cheaper/better in the long run, but they still don't get it! Wow, at least I know now that I'm not alone with non understanding parents.

Yeah, I totally understand where you're coming from.
Ah! I just want to find someone willing to lease from me so we can buy.
But it's hard finding a person who would want to lease without me having the horse yet, ha ha.

Yeah, same! Haha. I've done countless things to try to get my parents to let my buy, but they're still like noo. The lease thing was the only way I got a possibly. But I really don't want to lease my own horse out. I want to be able to ride everyday.
