Well my 24yr old tb mare is starting to get arthritis and i want something younger anyway so i can ride higher and faster, and teach the horse some things instead of him/her teaching me everything lol.

I'm a jumper, and i like doing a little dressage plus games lol (not the ones you have to get off the horse, the ones like pole bending etc) I am 164cm tall (or 5'3" i think) and my current horse is 15.2 im ready for something higher.. ive had a few opinions on jack and they have been good so far but what do you think?

If i go look at him my vet and my two best friends will be coming with me, i'll be asking for a lunge then i'll get on, i'll be asking lots of questions making sure i can handle him, i also want to know how his jump is so i might take him over some little ones if they have any, and how easy he is to get on an outline and how responsive he is to leg aids and seat, how hard he is on my hands and yea lol anything else i think of..
and if i like him then i'll be trialing before buying to see if he reacts well enough to a new environment

sooo..... i've been looking at Jack..

Ha! I'm from NZ as well!
Anyway, Jack looks great. Nice confo, and in good condition! Looks nice and quiet in the pics and a great price and a nice age to learn new things etc etc.

Good luck with him!

umm i wouldnt have a clue if it's supposed to be that far forwards to be honest i would think it's not supposed to be wouldn't that irritate his shoulders? i don't put my saddles on that far forwards and im gonna take my saddle if i go to see him and see where mine comfortably fits on him (still convincing mummy darling that i DO have enough time with school and other sports, she is keen on him though.)

it might just be the saddle itself though, it does have slightly forward cut flaps but your right it is sitting quite far forwards lol
