Clover is a 16hh TB. He is about 10 years old. I have had him since he was about 4 1/2. He has arthritis in both hocks and a torn meniscus. I am extrememly upset about having to find a home for him but have excepted the fact that I just can't afford him and with his heath issues, it makes it worse that I am struggling to pay board and can't even ride at all.
Clover will be okay for limited light riding. He does well with kids and dogs. He has always been fairly brave and is easy to work around. He gets along well in the field. He does tend to be toward the top of the herd but I have not really ever scene him be a bully. He has been out with mares before but does tend to get a little overly attached to the girls, so he is best with geldings. He will be free to a good home but I will want to see where he is going (preferably stay in the area of the State of Delaware) and the contract will include that he would be returned to me if that person ever had to find him another home for some reason. I have contacted a few rescues in the area and they have agreed to post him for me on their sites. This horse was my first horse and I love him to death. I want to be sure he gets the best home I can find for him. He is a special boy. I never thought I would get to this point, I thought he would be with me forever, but I guess sometimes things happen that are beyond our control.
Here are some pictures of him.
