I'm looking for a Hunter/Jumper (Hunter preferably) horse or Large pony over 14.1, in the zone 4 and Kentucky area. I'm located in West TN, and my budget's around 20,000. We'd like to keep it less than that, but it could change by a thousand or two for the perfect horse. Must be able to be handled by intermediate, preferably by advanced beginners as we'd like a level headed kind easy horse. Does not need to be A or AA quality, will be shown in locals, schooling, and maybe a few C's, B's, and A's. Preferably made, but would take on a large green with the scope for regulars. Horses under 16.1 please, as I'm only 5'4" and my sister who is 4'9" would be riding it too. No stallions, we are both juniors. As for jumping ability, 2'3" would be the minimum as long as they have scope to go a bit higher and for green ponies it would be about 2ft. We'd like not to have a green horse, but if the horse is easy to handle then it'd be acceptable as we're working one on one with a trainer most of the time. Coloring doesn't matter to me, we just want a sane, sound horse and as long as his/her conformation is decent and isn't going to prohibit him/her from jumping and doing his/her job, than it's all good.
Oh unless, it's an appaloosa, palomino/chestnut paint, or roan, I'll probably be ready to buy it the second I see the ad. Hahaa I'm such a sucker for interestingly marked horses.
