Western based what? Training? Location?

western based as in broke to ride in a western saddle, be it roping, cutting, barrels or pleasure, as long as it requires neck reining and seat cues to teach. Fl, Georgia area. w/t/c would be ideal, but takes a saddle and rider at the very least.

Are you looking for a Polo Pony or a Western horse? Polo horses aren't even in the same league as western horses. Their training is completely different.

i am looking for a horse, started as you would start a western sport horse. leg cues and neck reining with flying lead changes.

doesnt have to be FINISHED western. just started with the same cues you'd start a western horse with.

you dont neck rein in jumping or hunter or dressage, hence why i need a horse STARTED western style.

make sense?

Not really, since I've never heard of a polo pony that needed two hands. Polo players don't have the time to use two hands which is why EVERY polo pony 'neck reins'. No polo player I've ever heard of starts their mount western.

I know plenty for sale in Florida, however, if i went to the people i knew saying that YOU are looking for a western trained polo pony they'd laugh themselves silly. Polo horses are not started western. You shouldn't be looking for a polo pony for a client, if you don't know what you're really looking for. ;)

I understand what you're looking for AP. People just start drama and everybody's an expert. Too bad they're looking for a mare, I have one that would fit the bill but wrong plumbing. Plenty of heart and no quit. I'm gonna bump him to the top anyway, take a look if you want
