My First Official Lease Agreement

I'm 30 years old and just started to lease my first horse. Last summer I had leased my friend's horse to help her with board. But he was a 5 year old green broke Arabian so I didn't get a lot of time in the saddle with him. I did however get to perfect my groundwork skills with him.

I just started to lease Sue from a guy who owns a boarding barn and has many of his own pasture kept horses that he leases out. Sue is a 15 year old QH who's been used for a lesson horse in her past career. She's the horse he likes to start his lessees out on. She is real laid back and I've already ridden her several times. My goal is to lease Sue for a few months then move up to a younger horse. I have my eye on Daisy, a painted draft mare. Daisy's in the middle of being leased but as soon as she's available I can take over on her.

Sue has such a sweet eye. I bet she's wonderful :)
And whatever that big beefcake daisy is.. I want!
Leasing a horse can be so amazing :) I leased a clydesdale for 3 years. I consider her my first horse. It's a GREAT step into owning a horse :)
